I am lurking. Had a check up last month and a chest X-Ray. NED. One
more year to go until I'm "cured"
I am having more side effects from the radiation. Had to increase my
thyroid meds. I was concerned about waking up in the middle of the night
with something akin to a cramp in my chest and the doctor told me it's
from the radiation as well as shortness of breath on heavy exertion.
Thanks to the "cure", I'll never be "normal".
I recognize that "head and neckers" have a rough go with treatment and the
after effects..
Cramps - muscle spasms when swallowing?
Please make sure the shortness of breath is not clot (in the lung) or heart
related.

Thanks, J. I had a cardio workup and chest x-ray. I'm quite healthy except for the radiation side-effects. There doesn't seem to be a statute of limitations on them, either.

Fancy meeting you here! I'm new here due to what appeared to be main bile duct cancer, and recently had A Whipple operation on 7 /24 If I would have known the pain involved I probably would have taken a pass on the whole thing.
