Gambro PRISMA and Edwards Lifesciences Aquarius devicesFrom: gardinerharris@gmail.com (Gardiner) I'm a reporter for the New York Times, and I'm looking for anyone who used either the Gambro Prisma Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy hemodialysis device or the similar Edwards Lifesciences Aquarius Hemodialysis System. The Gambro device was recalled in 2005 after the FDA received reports of deaths and injuries associated with its use. The Edwards Lifesciences device was recalled in February of this year. In both cases, the devices could cause patients to retain too much or too little fluid. Please respond to my email or call me at the Times, 202-862-0443. Thanks! -Gardiner harris
