Re: older women drinking over 2 aspartame beverages daily had 30% decline kidney function in 11 years, Nurses Health Study, Julie Lin, Gary C Curhan, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston: Rich Murray 2009.11.02From: mainframetech@yahoo.com (mainframetech) Well, even if you don't read the full text of war and peace above, it's pretty clear that aspartame is deadly, but over the long term, which isn't as obvious. When you read the contents that aspartame is made of, and how it was passed into use by the public, it becomes clear that something is wrong with it. This stuff actually failed to pass by the FDA in the earlier trials and review. I know it's hard to believe that the FDA would actually keep a dangerous product off the market, but this one was way off the mark. It took a new director of the FDA appointed by Ronald Reagan to come in and simply force it to pass and put it into production. There's no telling how many people have been hurt and maybe killed by this profitable move by the makers and the FDA. Good Luck, Chris
