The Big Book clearly shows that Bill Wilson was insane. Not just a
little bit crazy, not funny crazy, but really crazy, genuinely
insane, >> clinically diagnosable.

Of course he was insane, just as any alcoholic who continues to
drink and act as we do!    That is why we need a power greater than
ourself to remove the insanity that precedes the first drink.  Now
you're starting to understand what a real alcoholic is.

I was NEVER insane, and neither were most alcoholics simply based on
drinking.  It's an addiction which is classified as a form of mental
illness.  But there's a big difference between having a mental illness
and being insane.  A large amount of people suffer from depression,
which is considered a mental illness too, but they are not insane.

Bill W. WAS INSANE.  Look at the poo he did.  It wasn't just his
drinking and drug use, he was insane from the start.

Now people who join cults are likely insane.  Guess that dont say much
for YOU.....

We KNOW you were not insane because you were never alcoholic.  Real
alcoholics cannot stop themselves from continuing to drink regardless
of the trouble it gets them into.  A psychic change, a rearrangement of
thought processes, must occur for the obsession to drink to be removed.
Just making a decision to stop drinking doesn't work for those who
continue to do the wrong thing even though they know they should stop.
