I was NEVER insane, and neither were most alcoholics simply based on drinking.  It's an addiction which is classified as a form of mental illness.  But there's a big difference between having a mental illness and being insane.  A large amount of people suffer from depression, which is considered a mental illness too, but they are not insane. Bill W. WAS INSANE.  Look at the poo he did.  It wasn't just his drinking and drug use, he was insane from the start.  Now people who join cults are likely insane.  Guess that dont say much for YOU.....
