Re: Has anyone in this group used a prenup and was it helpful? Anyone used Nolo to draft it?

From: blackhole@afraid.org (Doug Laidlaw)

That was Andy Stewart's formula.  Something has gone really wrong when it
has got to that.

A woman buying a counselling book on Amazon.com wanted to let men know that
she at least cared about men.  But she knew what bad press she had to
overcome.

Some psychologists are seeking to "liberate" women.  Men might think that
women don't need liberating.  But you have treated them as toys or bed-
warmers for so long, that you have only yourselves to blame for their
resentment.  Threat them as worthy partners and they will respond.  From
"Camelot:"

"The way to handle a woman is to love her."

And loving her - loving anybody - means treating them as valuable for
themselves, rather than simply useful to you.

Hello,

Had anyone in this group had setup and used a prenup and was it any
helpful? I'm thinking of creating a prenup for my second marriage to
avoid costly mistakes from my first one, and I am looking into Nolo
Press to produce a first draft. Has anyone do that before and was that
helpful or did the lawyers just tossed the prep work away?

If you know any better group to post this question, please feel free
to suggest it,

Thank you in advance

Clara
