Oh, I sympathise! Dave-over-the-road walks about the rooftops here like a
tom cat on the prowl and never holds onto anything at all.

I used to do that, half a century ago. Now I have to be tied down with
nowhere to fall. I ended up with scaffolding to do most of my fascias. I've
still a bit to do, and will need my 'bird table[*]' on the extension roof. I
hope I can find all the bits, and even then I'll need to be tied down,
otherwise I'd wobble off.

I'm somewhat not amused wit h the local avian population (Not including
Sn!pe).

At one time most of the birds were small, including a sklark which would
tweet in the (late) mornings quite musically.

Nowadays nearly all I get is marauding large avians.

whilst doing the roof/fascias I could observe during the day. Ducks, Geese
etc were common in the sky but didn't bother us.

However there has been a multiplicity of large scavengers and pests.
Starlings abound but aren't a bother. Collared doves coo quietly. Magpies
aren't a problem.

The problem is Mrs Crow's flying school, using roof and aerial as a base at
6:30 AM. She is joined by Mrs (very large) seagull??, despute being 20 miles
inland.

They twang teh aerial when landing and taking off, and run around the roof
with lead boots at around the aforementioned time causing sever lack of much
needed beuty sleep.

I've put up fishing line and cable ties on the aerial but it goes on.....

What I need is something that goes BANG!

Possibly aimed at neighbour opposite out the back. I caught her at 6:20 the
other morning putting out read for the scavengers. It was followed by crows,
collared doves, starlings etc, nothing endagered or interesting, all vermin.

The vermin sit in next door's tree and all the surrounding roofs waiting for
this free food.

One of these extra early mornings I'll go BANG!

Any other suggestions to get rid of unwanted avians?
