Re: More ideas for PrunellaFrom: rusty.hinge@foobar.girolle.co.uk (Rusty Hinge) I haven't got any impunity. However: I generally use the scored strip to wind-off the joinybit and after washing the empty can and top bit, with pliers, turn over about a millimetre of the sharp edges and expand the top's girth a tad. Voila! A slightly tapered retangular receptacle with lid. I don't eat spam or canned corn beef. I buy meat in little styrofoam trays coverred in cellophane. I use my fingernail or a knife to open. Actually I don't eat much canned food at all. I never buy meat on styrofoam trays, covered with clingfilm. Any meat I have is fom the village butcher or the gamekeeper, otherwise it's fallen to one of my rifles. I have two corned-beef (IIRC) cans turned into handy boxes, and these were kindly sent (filled) in a Storage Shed">Shed tuckbox when I was last having trouble with the DWP - indeed, trying to prise a pension out of them for two and a half years. Under those circumstances, corned beef, spam, etc are hard to eschew innit. I have a small cupboard full of canned and bottled things - just in case. The 'just in case' scenario might have arrived. My last pension payment certainly hasn't. -- Rusty
