EA3CEC, EA3CBH, EA6SA and EA6VQ was operating from EA3CEC's
radio QTH in the province of Avila (IN70QK) - LAST NEWS from
Gabriel, EA6VQ, dated 2010-09-07: Operation finished and we are
back home (except myself who will go to C3 tomorrow for some non
radio holidays). 159 QSO in the log with 31 DXCC (117 QSO via EME
29 via satellite and 13 via tropo). We are quite satisfied with
the results of the EME operation, that was our main goal and we
are only disappointed for not having been able to make more QSO
via satellite. Smallest station worked via Moon was using a single
Yagi and 400w.  We missed the contact with some well known EMErs.
No CW requests were received so all QSO were made in JT65.
QSL information and log of worked stations at:

** K5QE on EME in the ARRL Sept VHF contest **

Hello to everyone in the EME community. This year, the ARRL
September VHF Contest will be held Sept 11th and 12th. We want to
work as many EME stations on 2M AND 432 as possible to increase
our grid count. Please help us with this event by working us on
JT65b or CW. Thank you very much. As usual, we will be operating
2M on 144.142MHz Second sequence. On 2M, we will be running QRO
with 8 x 18’s and ask that you try to work us if you see us during
the contest. However, our moonrises and moonsets are very poor for
contesting this time(AGAIN!!). Our first moonrise is 1545Z on
Saturday, well before the contest starts(the contest starts at
1800Z). This means that the moon is up during the day when we
need to be working the rovers and tropo operations. We will have
to operate EME and terrestrial during the same time frame. We will
just have to do the best we can. If we see an EME caller on 2M OR
432, we will stop and work that caller. If you see us working
another station, PLEASE KEEP CALLING. That allows us to decode
your call while we are finishing up a QSO with another operator.
If you call in on CW, we will switch to CW and work you on CW as
soon as possible. More in detail (QRG and times) pse use:
