Usenet Newsgroups DR 635 noise From: vkthree@gmail.com (Gary Smith) Hi, i have an Alinco DR 635 and all of a sudden it has developed a noise (like a broken antenna lead) on RX, i can even hear it with the squelch off with no signal present, it can be random and can get that bad it totally covers a very strong signal. sorta sounds like VCO drift a bit but more like a bad mic lead from the station transmitting or a bad antenna lead. it was in the car so i pulled it out and put it in the shack so i have eliminated most "bits" ie power source, antenna and coax, interference from car etc. seems fine on TX.   HELP!!
